LOXFORD POLYCLINIC
Working with 12 teenagers from a local school and 12 Elders from local sheltered accommodation.
Through collaboration with a fellow artist in workshops, we focussed on our perceptions of wellbeing.
Intergenerational Workshops:
Through a series of workshops, we reflected on our feelings and how this related to our sense of wellbeing.
Memories and aspirations were creatively interpreted through text, map making, patchwork sewing, painting, drawing and photography. We also looked at ‘what we were made up from’ and produced beautiful experimental paintings relating to cellular formations.
The art created through the workshops informed and inspired the final pieces that were digitally reproduced and installed throughout the Polyclinic.
