Our camps offer creative fun for young artists in a safe supportive environment. ARTBASH art camps run in line with school holidays in Winter, Spring and Summer main breaks. Currently, we run our camps in Hackney and Barking and Dagenham. Each camp has a different theme linking to diverse artists’ works, festivals exhibitions and current topics. Our team of professional artists and art therapists are committed to supporting young people through creativity enabling their voice to be heard. We embrace individuality and believe our camps build social confidence and support greatly the mental health of our young artists.
What’s on next?
ARTBASH CAMP FESTIVE 22 LBBD
ARTBASH Camp Festive is a two-day art programme on 29th & 30th December, filled with futuristic festive fun. We will be exploring new neon techniques including drawing, sculptures and immersive installations.
Each day young artists will take part in four different exciting art workshops including some fun dance. We will be inspired by contemporary artists including Yayoi Kusama inspiring us to delve into our own fantasy worlds and develop neon interactive artworks.
Children with be placed into small age-appropriate groups. A healthy hot lunch, mid-morning and afternoon snacks will be provided. Dress for mess!
Free & Aforadable places
This is a free programme for children local to LBBD, who receive free school meals and related benefits. This year we are delighted to also be able to offer limited affordable places to local families not eligible to a free place. Places are charged at £40 for the 2 days.
We are delighted that this project is funded through the DfE Holiday Activities and Food Programme and part of Becontree Forever.
